Triage: how’s your flow?
Triage: during your call, your experience will be heard, and recommendations for options of POA (plan or action) with support services (experts with programs on hormonal health and more) will be offered.
What this is:
Private, hour-long sessions for anyone who suspects their cycle is not being taken seriously. We offer to measure what is actually happening using the PBAC — the Pictorial Blood Assessment Chart, developed by hematologists to establish when menstrual bleeding warrants intervention — then build a plan for what to raise, with whom, and in what order. The mission is to liberate more women with self-study tools: understanding your own flow is strategic, and these are not the times to be a menstruator who cannot get answers.
What this is not:
These sessions are education and advocacy support, not medical care. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment, or a substitute for your clinician. The purpose is the opposite: to help you walk into that appointment with better information, a measured record of your symptoms, and clearer questions. Bleeding that frightens you belongs with your clinician or emergency services, not a scheduled call.
“You’re not crazy. The institution is. There are a number of tools and strategies to get your needs met, and our favorite one is called The PBAC.”
